The Liverpool City Council have continuously let down skateboarders, there is currently a bye-law which forbids skateboarding in much of the city and with no council run skatepark there is nowhere for them to go, this sport is being criminalised. With the only two skateparks that they have access to being “New Bird” on Jamacia Street (Created by Lost Art skate shop) and “Rampworx” in Aintree (which is a charity) this leaves a big gap within the city centre. This documentary aims to highlight this gap and by using people who really care about the Liverpool Skate scene we hope that this message reaches the council.
