Price Increase £1 a Session

Price-Increase-Rampworx

Unfortunately, due to the increased cost of running a facility the size of Rampworx we have no alternative but to increase our prices by £1 on every session. This will begin on the 6th October 2013.

So far this year we have invested over £70,000 into the improving the skatepark and building the 15,000 sqft extension. This has led to increased overheads, such as rental, staffing costs and utility/energy bills. We have tried to avoid a price increase for over 3 years now, but as you and your folks will tell you, utility/energy bills, rental costs, maintenance and equipment have gone up every year and we just cannot survive without this increase.

If you don’t already know, Rampworx is a registered children’s charity, so NO ONE is making a profit from this… all our extra revenue goes into to keeping the park going, such as bills, repairs, equipment, new obstacles and so on.

Its worth pointing out that, even with a price increase, Rampworx is still the cheapest skateparks to use in the country. Fact!

We thank you for your continued support of our project and look forward to seeing you soon.

NEW SESSION PRICE FROM £6.50 A SESSION

Our competitors session prices:

Unit 23 = £9 a session
Adrelian Alley = £8 a session
Beast Rampz = £7.50 a session
Bones = £7 a session

Nokia Lumia Live Session: Lianne La Havas

By | Charity, Event | No Comments

A few months back our commercial partnership manager, Ryan, was approached by Nokia as they continued their quest for unique and special venues to host their Nokia Lumia Live Sessions events in, promoting their colourful, high performance Lumia phone range whilst providing amazing entertainment for audience members lucky enough to win exclusive tickets. Their Lumia Live Sessions tour provides a platform for the best, emerging talent producing intimate shows in the most unusual spaces across the UK; old cemeteries, cage fighting cages and royal music halls being some of their other choices!

Nokia arrived in Liverpool on one of the many cold days we had in April, looking for an exciting space for their next Lumia Live Session. Their first choice was our skatepark, however we showed them around a couple of local venues we are big fans of and asked them their thoughts at the end of the day; “We really, really want to use Rampworx!” seemed to be the ultimate response, despite it being the most difficult venue and the one WITHOUT a stage, lighting, PA or an on-site chef. Something about our humble indoor park really ticked all their boxes, so we excitedly obliged. Read More

Chernobyl Children’s Life Line visit Rampworx

By | Charity, Feature | No Comments

Yesterday we had a very special group of visitors at our skatepark from the outskirts of Ukraine, the Chernobyl Children’s Life Line. We offered this great charity the chance to use our entire skatepark for FREE with a private coaching session with our very own BMX coach and Vans rider, Zack Williams.

These children come from a very different environment to ours and it is the first time they have ever had the opportunity to visit a skatepark, so we wanted to make the experience as awesome as possible! Read More
