Video: Razors Jenna Downing Pro SL Skate

By | Inline, Jenna Downing, Video | No Comments

Arguably one of the most deserved pro skates to ever come out, the Razors Jenna Downing Pro SL Skate is an amazing symbol of success and achievement for Jenna Downing. Over the course of her skating career Jenna has won just about every major competition there has been, from X-Games medals to World Championship titles, she has won it all. One of Jenna’s biggest supporters throughout her skating career has been Razor Skates, who decided to reward Jenna for all her hard work and commitment to the sport by giving Jenna her own pro skate.

This video documents some very rare footage of Jenna competing at contests throughout her career, with a voice over from skating legend Arlo Eisenberg during the World Championship Finals. Directed by Simon Mulvaney the producer of the Ground Control DVD. Filmed at Rampworx Skatepark.

During the process of designing the skate, Jenna suffered from a Breast Cancer scare and decided that she wanted to draw awareness to the dangers of Breast Cancer that affect women across the world. This has been symbolised by having a pink ribbon on the side of the skate. However, Jenna didn’t want to stop there as she has agreed to donate 100% of the profit she would make from this skate to Breast Cancer Care  to help support their continued research.

Jenna Downing Be-Mag Interview

By | Inline, Jenna Downing, Press | No Comments

Be-mag talks to the queen of UK rollerblading about her inspirational success story and working with Dame Kelly Holmes.

Listing the achievements of Jenna Downing is on a par with trying to memorise the lyrics to The Beatles’ entire back catalogue: damn near impossible. After all, she set the rollerblading world alight at the mere age of eight when she won the IISS World Finals in 1996, finally turning pro at the age of 12 making her the youngest ever female professional. From then on she has gone on to dominate some of the world’s biggest events by winning the British Championships ten times, taking silver at the X Games in 2002 and winning the LG Action Sports World Championships in 2008.
