Do I need to wear a helmet?
We strongly advise that everyone using the facility wears a helmet as well as pads. This is for your own safety, you only have one brain – look after it. Our rules are – all scooter riders under 16 must wear a helmet. Helmets must be worn by all riders when using our resi ramp – no exceptions.
What clothes should I wear?
We recommend a pair of jeans/tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt and a pair of trainers. It is a warehouse, don’t wear your Sunday best! No open toed shoes. It can get cold in the winter so bring a hoody!
Is there a minimum or maximum age?
The minimum age to use our skatepark is 5 years old. We do not have a maximum age, you are as young as you feel ? (we are talking to you Dad, dust that skateboard off!)
Do I need to stay with my children?
All children between the ages of 5 (minimum age) and 9 years old must have a parent/guardian on the premises with them at all times. We have a very strict door policy, no one can enter our building without signing in. Also, if any children try to exit the building, our staff will refrain them from doing so. All of our staff are CRB checked and First Aid Trained. Don’t worry, they are in safe hands.
Can I park my car?
Yes, and its FREE! We have a big carpark at the skatepark so you are sure to find a place to park your car. If it is an event day, sometimes it can get busy, but road parking is also available as an overflow.
What is the nearest station?
Aintree train station is 10 minutes walk away, full directions can be found here.
Will any pro riders be there?
Rampworx has many local Pro riders regularly in the skatepark like Jamie Hull, Dylan Hessey, Harry Main, Indy Clayson and many more. If they are not on tour somewhere in the world, you might just bump into them at the skatepark!
How do I get sponsored?
To get sponsored you have to build up your name in the competition circuit. Enter contests all around the country, place in the top 3, release videos online, work with the media and your name and talent will soon become recognised. It is a very hard thing to achieve, but with practice, time and effort it is achievable.
Rampworx supports an elite selection of riders that visit our skatepark regularly, that are friendly and kind to all our users. If you are a good rider and show commitment to your sport, it will be noticed by our staff and you will be approached.
#rampworx in all of your clips, we want to see!
Can I have some free stickers?
