Video: Laced 2014 at Rampworx Skatepark

Laced is the biggest Pro/Am Blading contest in the UK. With over 140 riders flying in from 18 different countries to compete at the biggest indoor skatepark in the UK Rampworx it was guaranteed to be a crazy event.

Remz Pro rider Nils Janson from Latvia took top honors winning Best Trick with a Disaster AO Pornstar over the Rail and taking the #1 Pro spot.

Jack Swindells killed the Am contest taking 1st and qualifying for the Pro finals all whilst picking up a sponsorship deal from SEBA Skates Street for his efforts!

Jenna Downing made her first competitive comeback by taking the #1 spot in the Girls contest in a head to head battle between Razors team mate Rosie O’Donoghue who took a very close 2nd.

Video: Ground Control Bails Section

Unfortunately learning to fall is part of doing an Action Sport. You are going to fall, and surprisingly it gets a little easier to handle the more you do it. Learning to fall and roll away safely or with minimal injuries is a technique we all perfect. Pick a shoulder and learn to roll!! However no matter how good you are, sometimes your tricks don’t go according to plan and you have a bail! It’s tradition in most skate/BMX DVD’s to have a bails section to show everyone the hard work that went into getting the clips from your favourite section.

Rollerbladers tend to have some of the worst bails due to being strapped into skates, they have to land with their equipment on, they can’t throw it away and it can result in some pretty nasty bails.

Video: Razors #YOUCALLIT at SlammJamm

The Razors UK team visited Rampworx last month for the longest running blading contest in the UK SlammJamm. The team was out in full force for the weekend rocking the latest Razors SL Skate and the Razors Jenna Skate.

The Razors team decided to let you guys decide what tricks they should do that weekend for a #YOUCALLIT session. All you had to do to get the Razors Pros to pull your trick was head on over to the Razors Facebook Page and post up a trick you want them to do! Pretty cool idea!

Well you guys inundated Razors with #YOUCALLIT requests for the Pros to do. These guys (and girls) started staking up clips left right and centre. Scott Quinn, Chaz Sands, Jamie Stenner, Alex Burston, Rosie O’Donoghue and Jenna Downing all killed it!

Bleach Magazine

You may have already heard about Bleach, and if you haven’t yet then be sure to check them out! These guys are bringing a fresh new magazine to the extreme sports industry.

Coving all your favourites, BMX, inline, skateboarding and loads of other crazy sh*t.  Sick stuff like, Freestyle skiing, wakeboarding, rock climbing and loads more!

Razors Alex Burston’s SL Test by Mathias Silhan

French Pro skater Mathias Silhan just released this sick little edit of himself testing out the new Alex Burston SL Pro Skate.

Manchesters very own born and bread superstar ‘Alex Burston‘ has recieved his first ever Pro Skate from Razors. Burston has been killing it recentley with a insane DVD section in the Ground Control video, taking 2nd place in the Asian Xgames and winning the Laced Series at Rampworx.

The SL (superlight) boot-mould is a true to shoe size skate. So if you have a size 9 shoe, a size 9 skate will fit you nice and snug. The shell is cut out at the bottom, lowering your centre of gravity and reducing the overall weight of the skate. Laced Inline Comp at Rampworx Skatepark 2012

The first ever Laced Comp was held at Rampworx Skatepark in Liverpool on February 4th 2012. With pro riders flying in from all around the globe the event was sure to produce some next level blading, and it did not disappoint!

Razors UK rider Alex Burston took the top prize of 1st Pro followed by his USA team mate Brian Aragon. Jenna Downing won the girls contest and Piotrek Combrzynski won the AM. Joe Atkinson took best trick with a crazy 12 ft gap to disaster Soul.
