We opened our first retail shop last week in Hoylake, Wirral on the 17th September 2011. With the que starting to build at 8am in the morning the crowd soon grew and the shop was rammed full at 10am for the launch. Local BMX Pro Harry Main came down to check out the shop, meet the locals and dish out some FREE Nike 6.0 goodies to some lucky customers. Today (Saturday, 17th Sep 2011) we opened our first retail shop! With the windows being covered up for a month, people started queuing outside the shop from 8am this morning to be the first inside to check out the new shop. Local BMX Pro Harry Main came down to chill out with the locals and give away some Nike 6.0 trainers, sign some autographs and take some pics.

You may remember last month a bunch of Pro BMX teams loaded up in mini vans and traveled around the country for a week. During this week they were given a challenge book to complete for the Monster Energy Ride to Glory tour. This book contained some crazy tasks that you can read all about in the latest copy of RideUK. For now check out what the Nike 6.0 team got up to on the trip, filmed and edited by Liverpool’s very own Matty Lambert.
The Animal team visited Rampworx on Monday 25th July. With Nigel Sylvester, Oba Stanley, Tyrone Williams and Garret Hoogerhyde, Ben Lewis and Bengo all in attendance it was sure to be an epic night. Over 200 kids showed up on the night to come hang out and ride with the team, the session was insane!!
As if riding with some of the biggest names in BMX was not enough for our locals, Nike hooked up everyone that attended the night with a free set of inner tubes! All in all it was a sick night.
