CONTAINMENT are hosting a zombie-themed live music event for a 14+ audience to be held on Tuesday 13th December, at The Masque venue – City Centre (near FACT or CUBE skate spot). Doors open at 19:00 and the event will run to 22:30. At 23:00 an alternative club night will take over the venue, to which 18+ attendees are offered free entry.
We encourage ZOMBIE fancy dress!
The event is the first in a series of regular promotional gigs for Containment – a large zombie-themed live music and extreme sport crossover event being held at Rampworx Skatepark in 2012. Kids Can’t Fly, a very popular pop punk band set to release their new album with Kerrang!, are coming up from Southampton to perform especially for the gig.
Bands supporting are; Next Stop Atlanta (Preston), Driven Overboard (Southport) and Tell Your Friends (Liverpool).

Congratulations to Georgia Downs (12) who was pulled out of the hat ahead of 426 other entrants at our Hoylake shop to win the brand spanking new Hoffman Condor Bike.
Georgia who is in her 1st year at Hilbre High School, West Kirby, Wirral has been riding BMX for a few years now and she is also a keen Skateboarder. Since we opened the shop in September, Georgia has been regularly cycling from her home in Moreton (4 miles away!) up to the shop on her old bike to pick up stickers, mags, check out our new stock and ask us questions about how to improve.
She was obviously overjoyed about winning the bike and cant wait to get over to Rampworx to try it out. Her thank you email contained the words “Im blown away! Thanks a billion for the bike! I couldn’t believe it! See u in the morning to pick it up!!! Totally totally amazing ! Radical man :]”

Adidas and Saracen Bikes pro MTB rider Lance McDermott has been visiting the skatepark a lot recently trying to perfect a few new tricks for the upcoming season. Check this video out of Lance learning how to 360 Flip on to the deck of Rampworx box. Lance Says he wants these over A Volcano and Spine next. Keep and eye out for him tearing up the skatepark.
