We are expanding!

By | Build | No Comments

It’s been a long time coming, after a few hick ups with planning and some unforeseen issues, we are starting construction on our brand new 15,000 square foot extension! This extension will be an entirely new street section built onto our current skatepark in Aintree!

We are flying in one of the best skatepark builders in the world to help us build this project. Who’s resume includes the likes of Woodward and countless private ramps for pro athletes. You can be sure that this skatepark is going to be insane! Not only will this custom built park be amazing to ride, its also going to push the size of Rampworx up to 75,000 square foot! The build starts this coming Monday and we will be opening as soon as we can…

Scooter Pro’s use Rampworx Bearings

By | General, Riders, Scooter | No Comments

Bearings are an important part of anybodies set up, it is the key element that gives you speed. A good set of bearings and a decent wheel goes a long way, you will find riding becomes much easier and enjoyable.

Two riders that know this are Jamie Hull (MGP Pro) and Sammy Williamson (Lucky Pro) who both needed a revamp in bearings when riding the skatepark this week. They both picked up some Rampworx Bearings. If you have seen these little shredders ride then you know that these guys go BIG and having a decent set of bearings in your wheels definitely makes going big that little bit easier. Picked up some Rampworx Bearings to get that extra bit of speed.

You can pick up a set of Rampworx ABEC 9 bearings for just £14.95 and ABEC 7 bearings for just £11.95! Thats some crazy cheap prices, so why not treat yourself to a smoother ride?

Make It Happen: Trip 2, China

By | BMX, Press, Video | No Comments

‘Make It Happen’ is a year long, global video project under the reigns of Greg Illingworth, filmer Will Evans and George Marshall. Make It Happen consists of a series of four trips with a selection of riders hand picked for each journey, culminating in the release of a full video at the end of the year. The progress can be seen in the pages of The Albion throughout the year and by the release of a trailer video and photo gallery after each trip.

For the second instalment, we ventured to the vast cities of China, starting in Hong Kong and heading into the mainland by train. The trip provided the backdrop for Josh Harrington’s interview, which can be found in The Albion Issue 15.

A Rampworx Five Panel Cap has also been introduced into this Summer line of caps, this cap has been designed for those people who want a more stealthily, simple looking cap with an adjustable strap with plastic clip on the rear.

The peak of the caps has been completely redesigned from the ground up. We have changed it to be slightly shorter and more square to give the caps a modern look and style.
