We’ve hooked up with the team @ CALM to give you the opportunity to create a brand new t-shirt design. CALM will print up the best one and give you and your mates the finished product.
We’re looking for designs using 2 colours (AKA not full colour) that can be screen-printed onto t-shirts of any colour – you choose. The design can cover the front and/or back of the t-shirt and needs to highlight CALM as a brand. The typical wearer will be a Merseyside man aged 15 – 35. He might be into sports, fashion or music. We held a BMX Only Night at the skatepark last Monday. The idea of these events is to give the local riders a chance to session the park with their friends without any other sports in the building.
Thanks to everyone that showed up and see you at the next one!
Music: Q-Tip – Vibrant Thing

We have been contacted by the BBC who are looking for people who board, blade, or BMX to appear on the BBC3 show, The World’s Strictest Parents, produced by Twenty Twenty Television.
They are offering an opportunity for 16-18 year olds to travel abroad and learn from living within another family. In previous series they have sent teens to Belize, Ghana, India and the USA and have equally exciting places to send them this series.
They are looking for teens that are interesting and take part in activities beyond just drinking and partying so would be really interested in talking to teens who skate or BMX. They are also looking for teens with big personalities who would also learn and benefit from an experience such as this.
Interested? Email us on strictestparents@twentytwenty.tv or call the WSP team on 0207 424 7706. Read More
Simon Mulvaney had made lots of videos for Rampworx over the years including a TV show for the Extreme Channel. He has just been interviewed by a new Rollerblade magazine called Wheel Scene make sure you have a read below.
You may not be familiar with Simon Mulvaney but, if you are a rollerblader living in the UK, I guarantee you will be familiar with his outstanding work. Simon was responsible for the Chaz Sands Invitational documentary that was shown on the Extreme channel, thrusting rollerblading into the mainstream for the first time since it was dropped from the X Games. He is also the man behind many of the Rampworx edits, and last year he filmed a great online video for Razors featuring team riders Chaz Sands and Scott Quinn in Dublin. Simon is currently working on the first Ground Control team video and, as we found out, has quite a few other exciting projects planned for this year. Read More
Monday and Tuesday of last week saw the ‘Get Set’ phase of our latest ‘Get on Track’ project in Salford get well and truly up and running.
After a successful first stage, the young people, now all comfortable with one another and showing increasing signs of confidence, had the challenge of planning, organising and running a day trip to Rampworx in Liverpool.
Despite sounding like a mere fun day out, a lot of effort and teamwork had to go into this. With only 90 minutes being given to the group to fully arrange this, initiative had to be taken and they divided themselves into smaller groups, so each aspect of the trip could be fully covered.
The day out itself ran smoothly. All involved, who were placed out of their ‘comfort zones’, faced the ramps head-on (literally, in some cases) and some tough characters really shone through, in a way that perhaps wasn’t best seen in the fire station.
