Benny L and Paul Ryan are two BMX pro riders from Liverpool, who just so happen to be two of the best street riders on the planet. We are lucky enough to have these guys as locals.
They came in a few weeks back and asked if we could add in some new additions to our existing street plaza, so we built them.
Add in another local talent Matty Lambert and you have the perfect recipe for a sick edit. Sit back and watch Benny and Paul kill their new obstacles.
A few weeks back RedBull loaded up a mini bus with some of the best riders on the planet and hit up a bunch of indoor skateparks in the UK, including Rampworx! By the time the guys hit Rampworx Kris Kyle had already hurt his knee defying gravity on a curved wall ride, but the guys did not disappoint and put on a great demo and session.Â

Rampworx Skatepark has expanded it’s current skatepark in Liverpool by 15,000 square feet making it the largest indoor skatepark in the UK at 70,000 square feet. Designed by John Saxton (Woodward, X-Games) this Street Plaza has everything you need to have the perfect session.
We have some amazing local riders at our skatepark, the level of talent in the North West is just crazy. We asked two of our local riders to test out our NEW Street Plaza.
Now who better to test out a Street Plaza then one of the best Street Riders on the planet? Liverpool native Paul Ryan (Mongoose, Shadow, Nike) has been supporting Rampworx since day one. You can be sure to see Paul riding the park when he is not jet setting all over the world competing in some of the biggest contests on the planet!
Another local Phil Demattia was on hand, not only is he a sick rider, but this guy has some serious skills hidden up his sleeve. From building rails to destroying them in video sections Phil can do it all!
However, the talent in Liverpool does not end at riding. We also have some of the best creative talent in the industry up here as well. Matty Lambert is another loyal Rampworx supporter and we have seen him come on leaps and bounds from his early days filming in the park with his friends (who coincidentally are now all pro). He is now one of the most in demand videographers in the Action Sports industry! He has a client list that most people would kill for Nike to Red Bull and Monster Energy the list goes on. Matty was on hand to capture these two great riders having fun in our new Street Plaza, check it out.
Harry Main has just dropped his latest web video HARRYMAINIA “On the road”. Monster Energy followed Harry across the pond to America to visit a bunch of different cities to hit up as many spots and sights as they could. This video takes a more relaxed approach compared to his last Harrymainia instalment. Harry was due to have shoulder surgery soon after his trip so had to play it safe with his tricks. We say safe, but this is Harry Main so his version of safe is a “Bunny Hop Flare”!!

Our friends at DUB BMX have came on leaps and bounds since the early days tearing up the streets of Liverpool. We hosted one of the first jams for these guys in our skatepark and they have gone on to have there very own street series with Monster Energy!
On Saturday the 29th of June round 2 of the DUB 2013 Street Series went down in Frankfurt, Germany. More BMX riders showed up to ride with these guys than turned up to the XGames in Munich! Which speaks for itself.
With a huge turnout of local riders and some of Europe’s top street riders in attendance the riding level was ridiculous! Next stop Rotterdam!
