Announcement: Scooters are now allowed in 4-6pm!

By | Event, Scooter, Sport, Video | No Comments

As you are aware Rampworx has operated ‘Scooter Only’ sessions for over 18 months to appease our current user groups by not allowing scooters in on general sessions. However Scooters will now be allowed in until 6pm on weekdays, and on weekends until 4pm.

Whilst we have endeavored to not mix scootering with all other sports this has become increasingly more difficult having been lobbied by the scooter fraternity to allow them in on general sessions. This is on top of a decline in numbers attending the skatepark by our existing core users. To ensure the long term sustainability of our charity we have decided to allow scooters into the skatepark during specific early sessions effective immediately.

This is a decision that has not been taken lightly and we understand that there will be a number of users that will not be happy with this decision. However, in order for us to offer the same level of service for all sports (as with all other Skateparks in the UK) this is necessary. Please be aware that without ALL extreme sports paying into the Rampworx project it will simply die. So its a simple choice really and we need all of you to support our project regardless of the sports that you do.

For reference, we will continue to offer segregated sports nights on Mondays. This is to keep us in line with every other skatepark in the country and to allow you the opportunity to ride periodically with your own sport.

We hope you understand and continue to support your project.

By | Event, Video | No Comments

Mobile version:https://vimeo.com/58929280

The Laced Series partnered with Rampworx Skatepark (http://rampworx.com) once again and Blading.info (http://blading.info) to bring you guys an incredible event. With 13 countries in attendance and over 120 riders competing it was sure to be a great contest.

The level of blading at this years Laced contest was unreal! Some of the worlds most elite riders battled it out in the UK’s biggest skatepark to see who would take the number one spot home (and a nice wedge of cash).

The UK’s very own Nick Lomax didnt disappoint the Rampworx crowd with some serious next level blading, enough to earn the USD pro 1st Place in the Pro contest. 2nd place went to Kaltik Pro rider Steve Swain with 3rd place being picked up by Razors Scott Quinn.  Read More

Cj Wellsmore SEBA Tour in the USA

By | Event, Inline, Sport, Video | No Comments

SEBA has been producing high quality skates for the Free Skate and recreational market for many years, and they have now branched out into the Aggressive Skate/Blading market. We have seen the skates and they look amazing, with the strength and quality of a normal SEBA skate but with the ability to grind, we are sure you are going to love them. Not only do they have an amazing product, but they have singed up the worlds No 1 Pro Blader CJ Wellsmore from Australia, who also won the Chaz Sands Invitational at our skatepark back in 2010. Check out what SEBA had to say about their recent adventure to the USA.

SEBA Skates

After few days in Paris and few days in Moscow, here we go to NYC ! (CJ Wellsmore, Miriam & myself (Anthony Finocchiaro )

We went there for 3 reasons, the first one was the New York Battle (B.Oneil invitational), the second was to make some pictures in this awesome city and the third one was to test the latest prototypes of CJ promodel street skates. It was a long time since I came here, and I was still amazed by the city which never sleeps. CJ is not a “Broadway movie star”, but as soon as we started walking in the main streets, we were approached by a guy “Hey ! CJ Wellsmore !!??” and this happened few times during our trip ! Weird !
