Video: Let’s Make Owen Page Send It ft. Mike Hullock and Zak Turner

Owen Page has been riding Rampworx Skatepark for the last few years now and has been progressing at a rapid rate, it’s terrifying! To us it feels like only yesterday he was learning tail whips and jumping the boxes, now he’s holding his own in a session with the pros!

This year Owen has really stepped up his game and sending every trick that he thinks of; this tends to happen quite a lot these days.

Owen has grown up in a skatepark where you have a very high standard of rider killing the park on any given day of the week. With Pro riders such as Gary Spencer, Paul Ryan, Ben Lewis, Anton McGuirk and Harry Main floating around the park it is no surprise that this guy has been learning so quick!

After trying Cash Rolls into our foam pit for a few months he randomly decided to send it on a jump box and nailed it! He is the youngest rider to ever land a Cash Roll on a BMX, and he’s only 14 years old!!!!

Keep your eyes on this kid, who knows what he will be landing next year.

What can we tell you about Mike Hullock? Well… He rides a BMX in our skatepark every week and is one of the nicest kids on the planet. We felt it was about time that his name was put out there and what better way to do this than a short and sweet video.

Video: BMX Call The Shots #1

At Rampworx we believe in a few things; some of these things are have fun and making each other learn tricks no matter what happens. When it comes to BMX in 2014 its all about progression.

Progression is defined by learning and improving; where is the fun in that…? Well, our locals have been killing it since 1997 and we felt like it was time to show you. We asked you on our social media channels what BMX tricks you wanted to see our riders do and on what ramp. Despite some farfetched request we have managed to cherry pick the finest requests and create this video featuring: Phil Larkin, Ben Carragher, Owen Page, Curtis Taylor, Mike Hullock, Alex Nener, Jamie Ricketts and Gary Spencer.

Video: RedBull Local Hero Tour 2014

A few weeks back RedBull loaded up a mini bus with some of the best riders on the planet and hit up a bunch of indoor skateparks in the UK, including Rampworx! By the time the guys hit Rampworx Kris Kyle had already hurt his knee defying gravity on a curved wall ride, but the guys did not disappoint and put on a great demo and session.

Video: 5 Minutes With 10 Year Old Josh Rainsford

Meet Joshua Rainsford; one of our most local skateboarders. Josh has been skateboarding for 3 years now and we have only seen this kid improve. How many 10 year olds can do all this?

When Josh isn’t clearing gaps or doing 360 fly outs he has the most technical trick sessions with our local pro skater Keith Melia. Keith had this to say.

Keith – “I love skating with little Josh! This kid only want to learn the hardest and most technically tricks and ignore learning the basics. Where as most people would fail, Josh succeeds.”

Rampworx – “What would you say the future holds for Joshua?”

Keith – “I’m already scared about losing a game of S.K.A.T.E to Josh. He has gotten me on letters before but recently he’s been coming out with tricks that make me stop and think about what he will come up with next week. The kids insane!

Harry Main has just dropped HARRYMANIA 2 and trust us when we say the wait was worth it. Harry is a Liverpool local and world class BMX Pro for Monster Energy, Vans, Hyper and Skullcandy to name a few. He is constantly breaking boundaries and pushing his BMX to the absolute limits. When he’s not flying around the world competing in contests and filming insane videos like this one, you can find him effortlessly killing the Rampworx Jump Box!

We had to watch this video a few time just to process what we witnessed. We are not sure if it’s Harrys Vans shoes that are some how defying gravity or if its new signature model from Hyper, but this guy is defying the rules of gravity.

Video: Stephen Swain x Undercover is unreal!

Stephen Swain is without doubt one of the most talented bladers on the planet, fact! This guy can go head to head with anyone on any obstacle and more often than not he will leave them thinking, how did he do that?

No stranger to the Rampworx Jump Boxes this guy makes aerial tricks look effortless combined with his ability to lace every grind you can think of, switch is a very dangerous combination. We remember when Steve was just a kid driving from Yorkshire to Rampworx most weekends to be able to practice tricks he wanted to perfect. 10 years later he’s still doing it, currently residing in France and traveling around the competition circuit (and winning) this guy shows no sign of slowing down.

Yo Anton, how are things?

Hey Chris, things were going pretty well actually, until I fell off at NASS and seem to have injured my knee somehow. I will hopefully get it checked out asap and get back on my bike to film a new web edit.

You were recently dropped by Hyper a long with a lot of other riders. Why was that and how did you feel?

I do not really know what happened to be honest. Everything was going fine, but then shit went tits up, but hey. There is always something good to come from a negative thing. I guess Hyper are focusing more on the main riders they have now.
