MADD Gear Mega Tour October 2012 at Rampworx Video

Rampworx played host to the MADD Gear Mega Tour in October. With 8 of the MGP elite in the building it was guaranteed to be an insane night! With over 400 people in attendance on a Monday night the see the Stunt Scooter professionals, they did not disappoint. Performing demos, giving out free product, autograph signings and of course just hanging out with the local scooter riders.

Scoot Nation ISA World Finals 2012 Video

Last weekend saw the worlds best stunt scooter riders fly in from all corners of the world to compete in the ISA World Finals in the UK. Scoot Nation put together this edit showcasing just how far stunt scooters have came in the last 12 months, these guys are pushing their bodies (and gravity) to the limit, constantly inventing new tricks on unthinkable obstacles. Wirral Deaf Children’s Society at Rampworx Skatepark

Rampworx partnered up with Wirral Deaf Children’s Society to put on a activity day at our skatepark.

The event was hosted for free by Rampworx to help encourage people with hearing difficulties to get involved in BMX, Aggressive skating, Skateboarding and Scootering. “Once again time has past and the Slamm Jamm approaches its Fourteenth session. When I gave birth to the concept of this event back in late 1999, the focus was to create a gathering of community. Up to the point of the first Slamm Jamm I had only ever attended rolling events around the UK and Europe that were based around competition formats. They always seemed constrictive and scheduled, were by not everyone was involved in the whole rolling experience. After attending the Lausanne International Roller competition in 1997 it opened my eyes as to how much of a community Rollerblading is worldwide. I wanted to grasp that feeling of community / family and produce a gathering in the UK were by it didnt matter about competition or your status, it just mattered that you ROLLED.” – Dave Bell, Slamm Jamm Founder.

Rampworx has teamed up with MADD Gear once again to bring you another crazy event. The UK Mega Tour is launching at Rampworx on Monday 29th October 5-10pm. If you have ever been to one of these events out our skatepark, then you know that they are not to be missed! Elephant Distribution: Tea & Biscuits Summer Tour

To kick off Elephant Distribution we brought over a eclectic selection of Volume and Demolition riders for 10 days of sightseeing, snuff snorting and forehead signing. As a theme for the trip we teamed up with Yorkshire Tea and McVities Biscuits to bring nourishment and refreshment to the masses, and with 6 shop stops, numerous street sessions, 1 trail session, a Dub Jam and over a thousand spent tea bags in our wake, all in all it was a dunking goodtime. This is the first of three edits from the trip, look out for the second instalment next week and remember, don’t dunk for too long or she’ll fall in your tea.

Thanks to everyone who made the trip fun and for this edit specifically we’d like to extend a big thank you to Ross, Jon and all the Epsom locals, Philly D in Liverpool, Rampworx Skatepark and Ian, Dean and James at 4Down. Cheers
