It’s that time of the year again, Easter! Schools are on holiday for a few weeks to let you guys recharge your batteries and more importantly give you some much need ride time at the skatepark. This Half Term we are open longer opening hours than normal with doors opening at 10am Tuesday to Friday and 10:30am-7pm on weekends.

Not only are we open longer opening hours, we have introduced a morning session from 10-12pm for just £5 but we will also be running a crazy offer that will allow you to ride the skatepark none stop all week for just £20!!! No strings attached. You buy a week pass for £20 and you can ride from the moment our doors open at 10am on tuesday to the moment we close them on a Sunday night. Half Term is just around the corner so what better way to celebrate than to head down to the skatepark with your mates for a session. Rampworx is running a special offer on the ALL DAY sessions on both Friday 4th April and Saturday 5th April, which means you will be able to ride from the moment we open our doors to the moment we close for just £7.50!!! Laced is the biggest Pro/Am Blading contest in the UK. With over 140 riders flying in from 18 different countries to compete at the biggest indoor skatepark in the UK Rampworx it was guaranteed to be a crazy event.
Remz Pro rider Nils Janson from Latvia took top honors winning Best Trick with a Disaster AO Pornstar over the Rail and taking the #1 Pro spot.
Jack Swindells killed the Am contest taking 1st and qualifying for the Pro finals all whilst picking up a sponsorship deal from SEBA Skates Street for his efforts!
Jenna Downing made her first competitive comeback by taking the #1 spot in the Girls contest in a head to head battle between Razors team mate Rosie O’Donoghue who took a very close 2nd.

The Zinc Scooter team will be visiting Rampworx on Monday 17th February for our Scooter Only Session. This sessions is during the school half term and takes place from 11am-3pm and you can buy tickets online here!
On Wednesday 5th February we will be celebrating the life of Dayle Weston at the skatepark. We will be fencing off the street plaza to skateboards exclusively to celebrate Dayles life and his love for skateboarding.
All profits raised by Rampworx for this event will be donated to Dayles family to help them through this difficult time.

On Saturday 8th February we will be hosting the Scoot GB North Qualification event. Scoot GBÂ are on a mission to compose a national ranking table for scooter riders across the country. Rampworx is the first stop for the North qualifiers so all riders from the North of England wanting to get some points to hopefully qualify for the finals must compete at this event.
Tickets for this event are £14 and can be purchased here. The skatepark will be closed for all other sports on this day. It is a scooter only event.
Each region will be hosting 2 regional qualifiers with the top 15 riders from each category  from each regional qualifier progressing through to a regional final.
The top 10 riders from each regional final within each category will then go through to the UK Championships due to be held at Scootfest 2014.
There are 5 different categories to enter; Elite, Intermediate, Novice Open, Novice Under 12′s and Novice Under 8′s.
Riders can only qualify through to a regional final through their respective regional qualifiers. For example: a welsh rider who places in the top 15 from a qualifier held in Wales will go through to the Wales regional final.
All Riders are welcome to compete outside of their respective regions in order to gain national ranking points however they have to qualify through their own region if they wish to go through to the UK Championships.
Once again we hosted our infamous BMX Halloween Allnighter at the skatepark! Over 300 people turned up to ride the skatepark all night, it was crazy! Riders from all over the country ventured up to Liverpool to come and session with their friends. As usual the fancy dress was out in full force with everything from Freddie Kruger to the Beach Boys making an appearance.
Big shout out to everyone that made it down to the event and make sure you keep your eyes peeled for some more BMXÂ events next year!

Liar Liar are a great up and coming band in the UK and will be filming their next video at our skatepark on Monday 2nd December between 9-5pm. They need as many extras as they can get for this video on Skateboards and BMX’s.
So if you fancy some FREE ride time in the biggest skatepark in the UK for those few hours and your chance of being in a music video, make sure you get down to the skatepark!
